MADE FOR AFRICAN GAME-STATION OWNERS

Run every screen.
Know every shilling.

DRGateway lets game-station owners switch TVs on and off by session time, monitor every active screen, and connect operating time to the income it should produce—whether they are at the station or miles away.

THE PROBLEM WE STARTED WITH

A busy station can still leave its owner in the dark.

A television can be running while no paid session is recorded. A customer can play beyond their time. An owner away from the station has to trust calls, notebooks and end-of-day totals.

DRGateway turns the screen itself into the checkpoint. If the paid time is active, the screen can run. When time ends, the gateway ends access—and the operational record stays connected to the money collected.

YOUR STATION, STILL WITH YOU

Step away without losing sight.

See which screens are on, which session is running and how long remains. Staff can operate the station through their permitted account while the owner keeps a clear view of activity and expected income.

EASIER FOR THE ATTENDANT. BETTER FOR THE OWNER.

Collect. Select the time. Start the right screen.

The attendant does not need to watch the clock, unplug televisions or keep every session in a notebook. DRGateway connects the paid duration to the selected screen, then ends access when time runs out.

For the owner: fewer unrecorded minutes, clearer staff accountability, faster customer turnover and a stronger chance of collecting the income every active screen should earn.

A TINY DEVICE IN THE RIGHT PLACE

Between the socket and the screen, control becomes simple.

DRGateway begins with televisions because a TV is the operating heartbeat of a gaming station. The same control principle can extend to other approved electrical devices.

Small DRGateway device shown as a plug-in TV controller
01

Plug and play

Connect the gateway to the wall and the TV to the gateway. No rewiring, drilling or installer is needed for normal setup.

02

Small by intention

It is being engineered in the familiar guard-device form: compact enough to sit close to the socket without changing the room.

03

Low-power operation

The gateway consumes very little power itself, so the tool used to manage electricity does not become another heavy load.

04

Time becomes the switch

Start a paid session and the screen can turn on. When the allotted time ends, DRGateway can switch it off locally.

TWO WAYS TO STAY IN CONTROL

Near or far.
Online or not.

The gateway uses both Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi, choosing convenience without making one connection a single point of failure.

01

Bluetooth nearby

Pair directly when you are at the station or at home. Start sessions, read status and keep operating even when internet access is unavailable.

PHONE ↔ DRGATEWAY
02

Wi‑Fi from anywhere

Monitor and manage through the cloud when the gateway is online. Events recorded offline synchronize when connectivity returns.

USEFUL BEFORE YOU SUBSCRIBE

The gateway does its core job first.

A subscription should add depth—not hold basic control hostage. Final packaging will be announced closer to release.

THE SAME TIMER, A DIFFERENT PEACE OF MIND

Set TV time once. Let bedtime stay peaceful.

A parent can set how long a television remains available. DRGateway keeps the countdown at the device and switches the TV off when time is over—even if the parent has gone to sleep.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you plug in.

What is DRGateway mainly for?+

It is being built first for gaming stations: timed TV control, screen visibility, remote operations and a clearer relationship between play time and revenue. The same platform can serve homes and other approved electrical devices.

Does it need an electrician?+

No installation is planned for normal use. It takes the familiar plug-in guard form: gateway into the socket, device into the gateway, then pair through the app.

What happens when the internet fails?+

Local timing and nearby Bluetooth control are designed to continue. The gateway keeps essential events and synchronizes them after Wi‑Fi returns.

Will I have to subscribe?+

Core device control is the foundation. The optional subscription is intended for deeper analytics, longer reports, multi-station insight and advanced alerts. Final packages have not yet been announced.

How much will it cost?+

No hardware or subscription price has been disclosed yet. Pricing will be announced after hardware validation and before orders open.

Will it work outside Uganda?+

Yes—that is the goal. DRGateway is based in Uganda and inspired by Ugandan game stations, but it is being developed for game-station owners across Africa, with local currencies and compatible electrical standards considered as it expands.
